Weekend trip to Yelagiri best route to Yelagiri and Yelagiri Site Seeing

It was an awesome weekend trip to Yelagiri. We totally 18 heads started here from Chennai by KOVAI EXPRESS sharp at 6.15 by last Saturday in the morning. It was too earlier for us to catch the train which will start started at 6.15 I knew everyone is frustrated with this and I’m not the exception keeping alarm at 4 am and forcing myself to wake up my brain to active and I knew it was mid night for my brain but what to do I should react for the alarm. After my school education this is the 4th time my eyes saw the world by the time of 4 in the early morning.

I tried to wake up my parents but they are totally against to my trip. Basically they won’t allow me to go outing; and I’m begging to my mom and dad please wake up I want to move please get some breakfast for me. They never responded for me finally sat behind to my mom and went to close to my mom’s ears and said; Amma “Mom” my stomach is burning can you please prepare something to eat. I prepared noodles go to kitchen and have it my dad uttered finally while he was brushing. I don’t know when he prepared and even my nose did not recognize any noodles smell. Okay it is not the time to do any research I went to kitchen and had it.

I was about to leave my house, my mom asked me to stand ideal there she bought some snacks which she already prepared by the previous night and she also gave 500 bucks which really matters. Finally I got blessing from my dad and mom started to catch my local train at Taramani to reach Central railway station but I missed it. My next train is at 5.35 which lead me to take some quick decision and I finally decided to catch auto to reach Guindy station and finally I have reached the central station at 6.12am

The train started sharp at 6.15; actually the reservation coach was dumped like an unreserved coach. People who got open tickets also boarded into the reservation coach and we reached Jolarpet sharp at 9.30 as the time scheduled by the railway department. There our cab is waiting to pick up our guys and it was 16 kilometers to reach the hill station. What a climate it was really an awesome place to travel. We took right and left at around 14 hairpin bend. Each and every hair pin bend was named with the Tamil poet and kings. We reached our Resort “Zeenath Taj Gardens” at 10.45. Find some snaps of our trip. It was 230 Kilometers from Chennai to Yelagiri hills.

The resort was totally unbelievable what a place it was I never been to a resort with that kind of infra and rooms. Really it was worth to pay 650 bucks per day. Overall the climate is really superb we all enjoyed a lot.

Site seeing is concern Yealagiri does not have that much place to see. There is a botanical garden where in the evening there is a fountain show for 45 minutes but it is good to watch for first 20 minutes rest of the timing would be incorporated with the pattern of first 20 minutes show. There is small Murugan Temple and the place which located around this temple is superb we all had a god time. Later on we moved to boating where we spent 45 minutes and we paid 50 bucks for each for using the pedal boat; four can make use of single boat and two seated boat is also available for couples.Finally we returned to our resort at 11.30 and started to play games. Some played Cricket and some played Shuttle. Overall it was a good place to play too. Finally the time has come to return; we should start so that we can avoid spending another 650 bucks to stay for another day. We caught Brindavan express at Jolarpet at 4.45 and it was scheduled to reach at 8.25 but we reached Perambur at 7.50 itself it took 45 minutes to reach central railway station from Perambur and this is need to be changed. Appada finally we reached Chennai. The route which we used is a perfect one to reach Yelagiri. This route to Yelagiri by train is really advisable to have safe and healthy trip.
